Internship VacanciesWe are currently looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Advocacy and Campaigns Intern in our Lancaster office. Working with the Advocacy and Campaigns team, you will be assiting with the PACT Campaign as well as web-based research, keeping up-to-date records of media reports, attending training events and assisting on other Advocacy and Campaigns project as required. Please note: This is a six-month position and applicants must be able to commit to working 2-3 days a week. This is an unpaid position although reasonable lunch expenses and travel costs within the North West of England will be paid. Volunteering VacanciesWe are always looking for local people to assist us in our busy Lancaster office. If you are interested in helping us, please contact us with your CV,your area of interest and your availability and we will contact you when we require additional help. We do not offer volunteering opportunities with our partner organisations. This is because our partners are based in Akwa Ibom State which is an area where there is a high-risk of kidnapping, robbery and other armed attacks. We take seriously the advice of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the UK and the US Department of State both of which strongly urge against travel to Akwa Ibom.
